Fresh Beans

Today we took a round about trip to Dove Creek and back through Cortez.

This is another area that we've been in before. This time we wanted to stop and get some beans. We stopped at Adobe Milling and bought several 2 pound bags of beans, more than we can eat in a while, but they should freeze ok.

The woman behind the counter gave us the usual farmers lament, when I asked how the season had been-- the beans were rained on, snowed on and a fair amount of acreage was converted to sun flowers, for the bio fuel market. So a number of factors resulted in a season that was only so so.

Anyway, we now have a supply of fresh beans.
